Church of the Holy Spirit
XVII century
Built during XVII century, it later became the seat of the Archconfraternity of the Most Holy Rosary, formerly hosted in the Dominican convent.
It still has the original bell tower on three levels, the last one characterised by four round arches. The main façade, where we find the arched portal flanked by two rows of pilaster strips with Ionic capitals, is the result of a restoration carried out by craftsmen from Miglierina around 1940.
The façade formerly had smooth masonry with the projecting portal based on the semi-circular steps of the small stair.
In the inside, we find a single nave with a big triumphal arch; on the left from the entrance there is a chapel with altar dedicated to Saint Lucy.
On the back wall, hiding an apsidal space visible from the back of the church, there is the stucco altar; inside an arched niche of the altar we find the manikin statue representing Our Lady of the Rosary.
The floor made of cocciopesto and coloured concrete, the wooden stalls of the Priory, a pipe organ nowadays deposited in the Matrice Church deserve particular interest.
The majority of the Easter religious services used to be celebrated in this church and the Good Friday procession used to start from here.
